Agata Stoinska is a Polish photographer who has achieved considerable success since arriving in Ireland four years ago. A fully-qualified architect, opportunities presented themselves in Dublin that have allowed her to engage in a photographic career and further develop her passion for this field. In February 2009, she opens her own studio here, d-Light, in Dublin’s - complex of studio and art spaces that will provide facilities for photography, art exhibitions, fashion shows, fringe theatre and other productions.

Her serious involvement in photography began while on an architectural scholarship in the USA and the attendant college ran photography classes. She then continued her studies at the European Academy of Photography in Warsaw. Her continuing work as a stills photographer working with leading directors in the Polish film industry lends precision, the creation of mysterious atmosphere and close connection with the model to her fashion work. Equally, the sensation of space and composition lead directly from her architectural background.

Her Irish clients include Image, Irish Tatler, Prudence, Confetti, Irish Brides, Irish Wedding Journal, Wedding Irish Style, Dunnes Magazine, Totally Dublin, Debenhams, Dunnes, Penney's, Endora, Laura Guidi, Live By Love, Richard Allen, Sasha, House of Color and Social & Personal. She regularly provides the cover work for the much-transformed Sunday Independent fashion supplement, Life.

Agata Has exhibited at a number of galleries, including High Risk Gallery, Chicago and Alchemia, Krakow and featured in the Unit_Y and Standing Alone exhibitions.
